Dugan Model E-2A User Guide
The Model E-2A provides the following connectors:
• AUDIO 1–4, AUDIO 5–8, AUDIO 9–12
These three DB-25 connectors each carry four balanced I/O channels, and are
wired with the TASCAM digital pinout (see Appendix A: Connector Pinouts).
When the unit is powered off, bypass relays connect all input channels to their
respective output channels. This lets you turn off the unit while allowing audio
throughput without unpatching.
• AUD IN/OUT 1–8
These ADAT connectors carry eight channels of audio I/O.
• LINK IN/OUT or AUD IN/OUT 9–16
These ADAT connectors carry proprietary linking data. They can also be re-assigned
as eight additional audio channels.
• 10/100BASE-T
For your convenience, four Ethernet connectors provide access to an internal net-
work switch.
• Power
Locking coaxial connector accepts 12–24 VDC.
NOTE:
To wire unbalanced inputs, connect both Gnd and Lo pins to the source ground.
To wire unbalanced outputs, connect both Gnd and Lo pins to the destination ground.
