Creating a RAID configuration with SSA

Using Smart Storage Administrator (SSA)

SSA provides high-availability configuration, management, and diagnostic capabilities for all smart array
products.
SSA features
SSA is a browser-based utility that runs in either offline or online mode. SSA:
Supports online array capacity expansion, logical drive extension, assignment of online spares,
and RAID or stripe size migration.
Suggests the optimum configuration for an unconfigured system.
Provides different operating modes, enabling faster configuration or greater control over
the configuration options.
Displays on-screen tips for individual steps of a configuration procedure.
In SSA, you can select a controller from the menu at the top left-hand side of the screen, or you can
choose to configure or diagnose an available controller from the same menu.
