    LOCATING THE POWER BURNER This gas appliance is designed and certified for outdoor use only. Do not locate this Power Burner under overhead combustible surfaces. Do not operate the Power Burner inside a building, garage, recreation vehicle or any enclosed area. CAUTION should be taken when grills are used near glass, vinyl siding or other temperature sensitive construction materials.

    Do not use any replacement regulator other than that specified by DELTA HEAT. Use only pipe sealants that are approved for use with Natural and LP gases. An installer-supplied gas shutoff valve must be installed in an accessible location.

    Check to ensure that flexible hoses do not have any cuts and wear that may affect the safety before each use. Only the factory supplied hose and regulator must be used. Use only replace- ment regulator and hose assemblies specified by DELTA HEAT. LEAK TEST 1.

    BURNER FLAME / AIR SHUTTER ADJUSTMENT Each burner is tested and adjusted at the factory prior to shipment; however, variations in the local gas supply may make it necessary to adjust the burners. The flames of the burner ring should be visually checked.

    Do not build the Power Burner under overhead combustible construction. If the Power Burner is to be placed into combustible enclosure, an approved insulating jacket is necessary to prevent fire, proper- ty damage and bodily injury. Use only Delta Heat (DHIJ22) insulating jacket. IMPORTANT If using LP gas cylinder and insulation jacket (DHIJ22), use stainless flexible hose to connect LP gas cylinder to grill regulator.
