Track Adjustment - Check
Checking Tension
• Drive the machine a short distance forward and
backwards, then stop the engine.
• Measure distance from the rear end of the track frame
to the center of the idler, and check that it is 5.5" as
shown above.
If the measurement result shows a dimension greater
or less than the specified range listed above adjust the
rubber track tension.
1. Loosen the bolt and nut from cap (1).
2. Adjust the track cylinders accordingly

a) If the tension is too loose (the distance is less than
50
5.5") add grease to push the the end of the frame out
to the 5.5"
b) If the tension is too tight (the distance is greater
than 5") loosen the track tension grease fitting to ease
pressure until the end of the frame measures the 5.5"
Note: If you need to loosen grease fitting to ease pressure,
the grease fitting will purge excess grease. Clean
fitting accordingly.
