Installation
Remove the factory original USB Female Cable from the fairing pocket and

replace with the USB Female Cable from the GSR-HM51.
Connect the factory original USB Female Cable (which was removed from
the fairing pocket) to the USB Male Cable from the GSR-HM51 which is

labeled "SAT Radio". Apply silicone or other waterproo ng material to
the exterior of these USB connectors to make a watertight seal.
! IMPORTANT IMPORTANT
INSTALLER
This USB connection
must be made water-
proof.
Apply silicone or other
caulk to the exterior
of this USB connection
to ensure that there is a
watertight seal.
Failure to waterproof
this connection can
damage the GSR-HM51
and the factory radio
receiver through water
intrusion.
