H) Stopping the compressor

• At the end of the day, stop the engine by turning the engine
switch to off and closing the fuel valve
• Put a container below the drain value to collect the
condensate
• Open the drain valves slowly - condensation will drain from
the air receiver
• Close the drain valve when the air receiver has fully drained
• Turn the air regulator fully anticlockwise to close off the air
supply
• Operate the air tool to discharge any pressure in the air line
before disconnecting the airline and the air tool
CAUTION: Take care not to touch the engine or compressor
•
as they remain hot for some time after use
• CAUTION: Do not under any circumstances attempt to
remove the air tool or disconnect the air hose until you are
satisfied that the pressure has been released

• The MGF Air Compressor needs to be stored in a dry, clean
area
