The body mass index (BMI) is a figure that is commonly used to evaluate body weight. The figure is calculated
from body weight and height. The formula is: body mass index = body weight ÷ height

Values will often be lower for fitness enthusiasts. Depending on the sporting activities performed, the training
intensity and the physical constitution, the results may still be below the stated standard values. Please note,
however, that there may be a risk to health in the case of extremely low values.
The subsequent body fat percentages serve as a guideline (for further information ask your doctor).

• If the current measurement is closer to the target weight, this is indicated
in green. The more LEDs light up green, the closer you are to your target
weight (linear distribution). When there are 9 green LEDs, you have achie-
ved your target.
• If the current measurement is within +/– 0.2 kg respectively of the start
value (moving away from the target value), the first LED lights up in yellow.
• If the current measurement is more than 0.2 kg from the start value (mo-
ving away from the target value), the first LED lights up in red.
