This product is provided with antirust treatment and sealed before being packed. When storing the product, enclose it in a package designated by THK and store it in a horizontal orientation while avoiding high temperature, low temperature and high humidity. -

Installation and Operation Installation and Operation The mounting surface for this product must be a machined plane or have the accuracy equivalent to the machined plane. If the surface is insufficiently accurate, it may adversely affect the performance or the service life.

After trial run, supply the specified grease to LM guide and ball screw before using the product. In addition, the standard models contain the THK AFF grease. Once in 10 minute strokes, stroke each axis twice or more the ball screw lead. (Rotate the ball screw twice or more. -

Installation and Operation Installation and Operation Mounting method Using the mounting holes in the base, secure this product to the mounting surface using hexagonal- socket-head type bolts. See Fig. 4. Also see Table 4, which shows the size and the recommended length of bolts for securing to base. - Page 18 (3) Mount CMX on the mounting surface. When mounting, use the dedicated hanger. (4) Adjust the position so that the center of the mounting hole of CMX and that of the screw hole of the mounting surface match.

∙ Inspect whether each mounting bolt has loosened, and if any of them has loosened, retighten it. Lubrication The standard models are supplied with the following grease before shipment. THK AFF grease See the appendix for details of the greases. Maintenance Maintenance For lubrication, the LM guide and CMX3 ball screw part have the grease nipples as standard. Table 6 shows the model numbers of the grease nipples, the applicable nozzle types of the grease gun, and the grease amount per hole (guideline).

Wipe off the old grease or stains using a clean waste cloth. 2. Supply grease using a grease gun as indicated in the figure below. (Move the table or ball screw by hand to permeate the grease throughout.) -
