IMPORTANT!
To prevent the possibility of a heavily ice build up on the evaporating
coil, do not use this unit at ambient temperatures below 8°C.
Placement
When positioning the dehumidifier, ensure that it is placed on a level
surface and that there is a minimum of 50 cm of space on either side
of the unit to allow for efficient airflow. This dehumidifier is fitted
with castors for extra mobility, if you move the unit, it should first be
switched off and the water tank emptied.
We do not recommend the use of an extension lead, so please try to
ensure that the unit is sufficiently close to a fixed mains socket.
When the dehumidifier is in operation, front doors and windows
should be closed when necessary for most efficient use.
Warning
• Failure to abide by this warning could result in an explosion, death,
injury and property damage.
• Any person who is involved with working on or breaking into a
refrigerant circuit should hold a current valid certificate from an
industry­accredited assessment authority, which authorizes their
competence to handle refrigerants safely in accordance with an
industry, recognized assessment specification.
• Servicing shall only be performed as recommended by the equipment
manufacturer. Maintenance and repair requiring the assistance of
other skilled personnel shall be carried out under the supervision of
the person competent in the use of flammable refrigerants.
