TIDE
INSTRUCTIONS
BUTTON FUNCTIONS
• [SET/DONE] : Button A in
directions below
• [MODE/NEXT] : Change
function mode; Button B in
directions below
• [START/TIDE] : Tide, Start;
Button C in directions below
• [RST/STOP] : Enter setting
state; Button D in directions
below
• [LIGHT] : Start/Stop timing
function; Button E in directions
below
MODES
• There are eight modes:
Timekeeping, Tide, Wave
Counting, Chronograph,
Countdown Timer, Heat
Countdown Timer, Alarm and
Dual Time
TIMEKEEPING MODE
SETTINGS
• Press Button A [SET/DONE]
and hold 3 seconds to set
Time/Date
• Sequence is: Year > Month >
Day > Hour > Minute > Second
> 12/24 Hour Format > Date
Format > Language for Week >
Hourly Chime On/Off > Button
Beep On/Off > Unit for Tide
Height in Meters
• Press Button D [RST/STOP]
quickly to decrease the
number
• Press Button C [START/TIDE]
quickly to increase the number
• When setting Second data,
press Button C or D to clear
Second data
• To set 12 or 24 Hour Format,
press Button C or D to adjust
• To set Date Format, press
Button C or D to choose:
MM-DD-YY, DD-MM-YY, or
YY-MM-DD
• To set Language for the Week,
press Button C or D to choose
English, French Portuguese or
Spanish
• To set Hourly Chime, press
Button C or D
• To set Button Beep, press
Button C or D
• To set Unit for Tide Height,
press Button C or D to select
Metric or Imperial
• Press and hold Button A to
return to Timekeeping Mode
• If no button is pushed for 30
seconds, Settings will return to
Timekeeping Mode
TIDE MODE
• Press Button B [MODE/NEXT]
to enter Tide Mode
• Press Button D to view last
tide data
• IPress Button C to view next
tide data
• In Sunrise status, press Button
C to view future sunrise data
• Hold Button C to search future
data quickly; data displays 3
seconds after pressing button
• In Sunrise status, press Button
D to view previous sunrise
data; data displays 3 seconds
after pressing button
• Press Button B to return to
Timekeeping Mode
• Note: The system will display
current day data of tide or
Sunrise & Sunset
• Note: In Tide and Sunrise &
Sunset, press Button A to
enter Setting Mode; press
Button B to change settings
CHANGE TIDE MODE
SETTINGS
• Press Button B to enter Tide
Mode
• Press and hold Button A to
enter settings mode
• Press Button B to select next
option
• Buttons C and D will scroll up/
down through setting options
• Press Buttons C or D to choose
the Zone Group
• Press Buttons C or D to choose
Region
• Press Buttons C or D to
choose Beach
• Press Buttons C or D to choose
DST(AUTO-OFF-ON)
• Press Buttons C or D to make
Time Compensation of Tide
(if not needed, please set to 0
Minute)
• Press Buttons C or D to choose
self-define beach name
• Note: If opting to self-define
the name, then press Button
B to move 18 characters, and
change the alphabet letter by
pressing Buttons C or D
• In Setting Mode, hold down
Buttons C or D for more than
2 seconds to make a quick
adjustment
• If no button is pushed for 30
seconds, Settings will return to
Timekeeping Mode
WAVE COUNTING MODE
• Waves can be recorded from 0
to 99 and when recorder is full,
it will display FULL
WAVE COUNTING
MODE SETTINGS
• In Wave Counting Mode, press
Button C to record start time
of the first wave, then press
Button C again for the second
wave
• TIDE will calculate and record
the data automatically (the
time between the first and
second wave)
• Note: You may record more
wave data, then press Button
to D to stop recording
• To clear present data, press
and hold down Button D for 2
seconds
• In STOP status, press Button
A to enter Memory Mode, then
press Button C to review data,
then press Button B to exit
Memory Mode
ALARM MODE SETTINGS
• Press Button B to enter the
Alarm Mode
• To toggle between Alarm1 and
Alarm2, press Button D
• Press and hold Button D
to change the alarms for:
Daily Alarm, Workday Alarm,
Weekend Alarm and Appointed
Day Alarm
• To turn alarm On/Off, press
Button C
• To set the Alarm, enter
either Alarm1 or Alarm2,
then press and hold Button
A for 3 seconds to set, then
press Button B to change the
individual settings
• To increase the value, press
Button D or hold move quickly
• To decrease the value, press
Button C or hold move quickly
• Press Buttons C or D to set
daily alarm, workday alarm,
weekend alarm, and appointed
day alarm
• Press Button A to confirm and
return to Alarm Mode
• If no buttons are pressed for
30 seconds, the settings will
return to Alarm Mode
• If no button is pressed for 60
seconds, the settings with
ENGLISH
