7. Insert the plug-in assembly from the top. Do not use force. The connec‐
tions are to be inserted in the plug on the main board.
8. Fasten the plug-in assembly with the screw, with which the extension card
was fixed.

9. Close the top cover and fasten it with the two screws.
If the card is equipped with a Plug and Play (PnP) function, it is automatically
recognized by the operating system and integrated in the system, provided that
there are no hardware conflicts (IRQ etc.) with other extension cards or con‐
nected devices.
There can be different causes if functions, which are based on the new card,
are not available after the system reboot:
● The card is not properly positioned in the PCI slot.
● The driver software of the card was not installed or was installed faulty.
