materials, and follow the data of
the manufacturer for the dimensions of the
sandpaper.
Grinding discs that protrude
grinding disc can cause injuries or lead to
blockage,sandpaper tearing or recoil.
▪ Special safety measures for
polishing:
Do not work with torn polishing plates
or those with broken fastening threads.
Hide or shorten the fasteners
threads. Loose fastening threads
can be wrapped around your fingers or
around the workpiece.
▪ Special safety measures for
work with wire brushes:
▪ Keep in mind that wire brushes
even in normal operation, emit
pieces of wire. Do not overload
the staples through too much pressure.
Flying pieces of wire can pass
very easy through thin clothing and yes
pierce your skin.
▪ If the use of
fuse, you need to take care
do not touch the wire brush
fuse. Disc and calyx
brushes can increase their diameter
due to pressure and centrifugal
forces.
6. FUNCTIONAL DESCRIPTION AND PURPOSE
The polishing machine is suitable
• for polishing, matting, texturing and
grinding,
• for polishing and smoothing,
• for grinding the following materials:
metal, wood, plastics and the like.
The user is fully responsible for
any damage caused by improper
use.
Generally accepted prevention rules
of accidents and the attached information for
safety must be observed.
7. USE
Working with sandpaper, polishing, working with
wire
brushes:
Press the machine lightly and guide it here -
there on the surface.
Before performing maintenance:
unplug the appliance. During operation, different
particles can
to accumulate inside the
the machine. This makes it difficult to cool
power tools. Conductors
deposits can violate the protective
insulation of the power tool and yes
cause an electric shock hazard.
Vacuum or blow dry
with degreased air regularly and thoroughly
the machine through all front and rear
vents.
8. RETENTION WARNINGS:
The recoil is a sudden reaction due to
blocked tool, such as a grinding wheel,
washer, wire brush, etc.
The blocking causes the rotating tool to stop abruptly,
which will cause the machine to reverse the direction
of the attachment at the pressing point.
For example, if an abrasive disc is jammed or
blocked in from the workpiece, the top of
the disk that enters the pressing point,
may pop out of the surface of the material
and cause the disc to roll back. The disk can
to fly to the sides of the operator or to
it, depending on the direction of rotation in
the moment of recoil. Under these conditions, the
abrasive discs may break.
The recoil is the result of improper use
of the machine or from improper operation and can
be avoided by taking appropriate precautions such
as those given below.
a) Hold the machine firmly and stand so that you can
avoid kickback.
Always use the additional handle, if any, for better
control of recoil and reaction forces at start-up.
b) Do not place your hand near the rotating attach-
ment. The attachment may fly to your hand.
c) Do not stand in a place where the machine may
fly out if a kickback occurs. The recoil will push the
machine in the opposite direction to the movement of
the disc.
d) Be careful when working near corners, sharp
edges, etc. Avoid bouncing and jamming of the work
tool.
Corners, sharp edges, etc. tool jamming is often
caused, resulting in loss of machine control and
recoil.
e) Do not insert chainsaws or circular saws. Such
disks cause frequent kickbacks and loss of control.
9. SPECIFIC SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR
GRINDING AND CUTTING WITH ABRASIVE DISCS
a) Use abrasives that are designed for your machine
and special protection designed for them.
Abrasives that are not made specifically for the ma-
chine cannot be properly protected and are not safe.
b) Use the discs as intended. Eg: do not grind with
a cutting disc. Abrasive cutting discs are for surface
grinding, the application of force to such
discs can cause them to break.
c) Use sturdy disc flanges with the correct size and
shape for the selected disc. The correct flange sup-
ports the disc, thus reducing the likelihood of break-
age. The flanges of the cutting discs may be different
from those for grinding.
