plications. The Slate can also be used to annotate by a virtual
pencil, brush, or highlighter on any application that is visible on
the PC monitor or screen.
Three annotation (inking) programs provide various levels of an-
notation functionality from the very simple to the ability to record
and replay a time record of the annotation strokes. All this can
be done with the user selecting colors, line widths, and back-
grounds.
Also included is educational software called Easiteach. ™ It is a
classroom program used by teachers and easily controlled by
this interactive slate. It helps students master subjects by creating
extremely engaging lessons. Test scores have been shown to in-
crease when using Easiteach.
The software also includes a library of clip art images and back-
grounds that can be easily dragged onto the active window.
