Do not use this machine on steep slopes where your
safety cannot be guaranteed. If you work on slopes,
slow down your work and make sure you have good
stability.
Do not go near the cutting element of the machine
when the engine is running.
Do not rely solely on the safety features of this
machine.
Attention must be paid to possible loosening or
overheating of machine parts. If you detect any
anomaly, stop the machine immediately and check it
carefully. In case of failure, take the machine to the
technical service for repair. In no case should you
continue working if you notice that the operation is not
correct.
Remember to always use the machine with clean
hands and without fuel or oil.
Do not use accessories on this machine except those
recommended by our company, as their use could
cause severe damage to the user, to people near the
machine and to the machine itself.
Always follow the safety rules that we indicate in this
manual.
6.1. HOLDING THE MACHINE AND GUIDING
Hold the machine with your left hand on the handlebar
and your right hand on the grip so that you can
operate the On / Off switch with your right hand.
Caution !: To reduce the risk of loss of control and
possible injury (even death) to the user or bystanders,
never operate this machine with one hand.
6.2. CUTTING WITH THE WIRE HEAD
WARNING: Wear eye protection at all times. Do not
look directly at the cutting line as debris from the head
while cutting can seriously injure your face and eyes.
If the head hits a stone or other object, stop the engine
and check its condition. Do not use damaged or poorly
balanced heads.
Hold the brush cutter so that the head does not touch
the ground and with an inclination of about 20º in the
direction in which you are cutting.
Cut from left to right to prevent cut grass from falling
into the area to be cut. Take care not to hit the head
against stones or the ground. Bumps against objects
and the ground will reduce the useful life of the head,
may damage it, creating a dangerous environment for
you and those who are near your work environment.
The nylon threads get shorter with use, when they are
too short, accelerate the motor and press the head
against the ground, at that time a little more thread will
come out of the head. If you pull too much thread the
guard blade will cut off the excess.
Remember that the end of the nylon thread is the one
that makes the cut. You will get a better result if you
do not push the entire head into the area to be cut at
once. Insert the head slowly and let the nylon tips cut
through the grass at their own pace.
ATTENTION DANGER: Do not work with the
brushcutter in areas where there is wire mesh.
Always wear the proper protective equipment. Do not
use this machine in areas where you cannot clearly
see what to cut.
