CORRECTIVE AND PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE
AND PRESERVATION
Cleaning
Never wet the compressor or any of their parts. The cleaning of outside surfaces should
be performed weekly with a duster or soft cloth slightly moistened with water; the use of
other products may damage the compressor finish or plastic parts. Be sure to thoroughly
clean the head's upper part, responsible for its cooling. The accumulated dust affects the
heat dissipation. If you find any problems in operation, follow the instructions below to check
and fix the problem, and/or contact your representative.
UNFORESEEN EVENTS – SOLUTION OF PROBLEMS
Upon coming across any problem in operation, follow the instructions below to check
and repair the problem, and/or get in touch with your representative.
Problem
- The compressor does
not start.
- The compressor does
not turn on and emits an
unusual noise.
- The compressor runs
slowly.
- The compressor does
not reaches the maximum
pressure, lesser efficiency,
works for a short period
of time.
- The compressor motor
does not turn off when it re-
aches maximum pressure.
Probable cause
- Power plug disconnected.
- Main switch off.
- Power outage in the ne-
twork.
- Overload protector tripped.
- Capacitor is burnt.
- Electrical supply voltage
lower than the specified.
- Pressure valve unregulated.
- Air tank filled with water.
- Air intake filter with exces-
sive dirt.
- Pressure switch deregulated
or defective.

Probable cause
- Connect power plug into the
outlet.
- Connect main switch.
- Wait for the regularization of
eletrical network.
- Reset the protector according
to the instructions (pag.17). In
the recurrence of the protector
trip, request the presence of a
Saevo authorized technician.
- Request the presence of a
Saevo authorized technician.
- Connect the compressor to the
correct network.
- Wait for the regularization of
network.
- Request the presence of a Sae-
vo authorized technician.
- Drain the water from the tank
(page 13).
- Replace the air filter (page 17).
- Request the presence of a
Saevo authorized technician.
