4 - Before First Use Remove the appliance from the packaging. Carefully check all the parts against the parts list. Assemble the lid handle as instructed in the next section of this manual. Assemble the grill as shown in the next section of this manual. Clean the grill plates, drip tray and lid in warm, soapy water and allow all the parts to dry thoroughly before placing them into the unit. -

Installing the Trays and Element: To start using the grill, begin by placing the water tray inside. When the water tray is in place, slot the drip tray into place over it. This tray gathers oil and fat while the grill is in use. Use the format of the grill base and drip tray as guidelines when installing the tray into the unit;... - Page 10 Note: The bars on the LED temperature indicator dial turn on or go out in segments of multiple bars at a time. Never cook meat for too long, as this will dry it out and reduce its flavour. To remove food residue from the grilling plates, rub them with a kitchen towel soaked in oil. Never use abrasive cleaners or solvents to clean the grilling plates, as they will damage the non-stick surface. -
