- Page 4 2. ANATOMY AND USAGE 2.1 FRONT PANEL Instrument input for the amplifier. Controls the gain of the preamp section of the amplifier. TREBLE Controls the amount of treble frequencies. BASS Controls the amount of bass frequencies. SEND Effects loop output to your pedals. RETURN Effects loop input from your pedals.
- Page 5 2.3 SETTING TONES The preamp found in your Keeley Custom 12 is designed to provide a variety of sounds from clean to mean and everything between. Begin by setting the volume knob to 9:00. A good starting point is to set Bass, Treb, and Master controls to 12:00.
