INCORRECT ASSEMBLY CAN LEAD TO SERIOUS INJURIES!
Safe and proper functioning of the gate system can be ensured only by correct
installation by a knowledgeable / competent person in accordance with the in-
structions supplied with the product.
According to EN 12635, a knowledgeable / competent person is a person who
has suitable training, qualified knowledge and practical experience to correctly
and safely install, inspect, maintain and repair a door system.
These assembly and operating instructions must be read, understood and ob-
served by the person who assembles, operates or maintains the actuator.
When carrying out the installation work, the competent person must comply
with all relevant and applicable regulations on occupational safety as well as
the regulations for the operation of electrical equipment. National occupation-
al safety regulations, accident prevention regulations and valid standards of the
corresponding country must be observed and complied with! During drive as-
sembly, possible dangers in the sense of EN 13241-1 and EN 12453 must be ob-
served
The guideline "Technical Rules for Workplaces ASR A1.7" of the Committee for
Workplaces (ASTA) is valid for the operator in Germany and must be observed
and complied with.
