Care, Maintenance and Repair
The dehumidifier should always be kept in a clean
condition.
ATTENTION!
Before starting cleaning, maintenance and repair
work, switch off the device and disconnect the
power plug!
Wear safety gloves!
NOTE!
Never use harsh cleaning agents for any cleaning
work. This can lead to damage or destruction of the
device.
Periodically, clean the appliance with a damp cloth and
a mild detergent (soapy water) on the outside. Make
sure that no water gets inside the unit. Do not use
cleaning agents or solvents for cleaning as they may
damage parts of the device.

8.1 Cleaning the air filter

ATTENTION!
Make sure that the dehumidifier is switched off and
the plug is unplugged before servicing. The perfor-
mance of the humidifier is greatly reduced when the
filters are clogged.
Step 1: Turn off the device and unplug the power cord.
Then remove the housing cover (Fig. 8) by pres-
sing the lock (arrows) downwards.

Step 2: Clean the filter and replace it in the housing co-
ver and close it. (Fig.9).

Light pollution
Use a vacuum cleaner or tap the filter lightly.
Heavy contamination
Carefully wash the filter with lukewarm soapy water (max
40 ° C) and then let it dry well. Do not expose the filter to
the sun or other sources of heat to dry.

8.2 Checking the electronics

ATTENTION!
Make sure that the dehumidifier is switched off and
the plug is unplugged before servicing.
Step 1: Open the cover on the back of the dehumidifier.
Step 2: Remove the cover and check the electronics for
damage or water ingress.
