Dynamic DNS
The Dynamic Domain Name System controls the allocation of dynamic IP
addresses to fixed computer names. The router registers your public IP address
as assigned by your Internet provider (IP addresses of this type are renewed reg-
ularly) with a provider of dynamic DNS, so that the services which you make
public in the Internet are always accessible under the computer name of your
choice.
