Clearing Disc Files

Press the jog dial (on the remote control unit press the

* For the artist's name, press the ENTER button again.
2 Clearing all the player's disc files (disc titles, artists' names, track titles and group files)
(This operation is only possible from the main unit.)
1. Press the power operation switch while holding in the WRITE and CLEAR buttons to turn on the power.
2. " ALL ERASE " is displayed. (release the WRITE and CLEAR buttons)
When " ALL ERASE " turns off, all the disc files are erased.
No buttons will work until " ALL ERASE " turns off. The greater the number of discs whose disc files are to be erased, the
longer it takes for the disc files to be erased.
• When players are connected in daisy chain, all the files in the connected players are erased.
2 Clearing all the disc files for one CD
(This operation is only possible from the main unit.)
1. Select the disc whose disc files you want to erase.
2. Press the WRITE button to set the write mode.
3. Press the CLEAR button while pressing in the CHECK button until " FILE ERASED " is displayed.
The disc files for the selected CD are erased and the disc file writing mode is set.
Turn the jog dial (on the remote control unit press the

* It is also possible to select CDs by inputting the disc number. (Refer to page 14.)
