USING DISC FILES

2 About Disc Files
With disc files, disc titles, artists' names and track titles can be given for individual CDs and the discs can be categorized in groups.
Each disc can be labeled up to 30 tracks. Titles can have up to 16 characters.
Disc files are stored in the memory even when the power is off.
NOTES:
• Disc files are stored for the discs' slit numbers, so they remain in the memory even when the CDs have been replaced. Before
replacing CDs, erase all the disc files one by one in order, then create new disc files for the new CDs.
• CD Text discs have various types of text information (disc title, artist name, etc.) stored on them. This information is automatically
stored in a disc file when the CD is played, and cannot be changed. CD Text discs can however be registered in groups like other
CDs.
• It is not possible to set the disc file writing mode while in the multi-zone or random mode.
