Your Bennett Read Tough 18 can also suck up liquids* in and around your home. Please note that the Bennett Read Tough 18 is NOT a carpet deep cleaner. Carpet deep cleaning should be done with a specialised deep cleaner such as the Bennett Read ONE. -

WARNING: Do not vacuum up boiling hot, flammable or combustible liquids Your Tough 18 is equipped with a float valve located at the bottom of the Motor Unit which will partially shut off the suction as soon as the tank reaches capacity. Immediately switch off the machine and empty the tank before continuing. -

Can i **** up water with my model ykw 78 and what is the procedure
Yes, the Bennett Read Tough 18 model YKW78 can handle water. It can be used as a wet vacuum. The procedure is:
1. Remove the Microparticle Filter before vacuuming liquids.
2. Replace the Motor Unit and secure the Locking Clips.
3. Insert the Flexi-Hose into the Vacuum Function Hose Port and turn clockwise to lock.
4. Attach the Wet Floor Nozzle Attachment to the Floor Nozzle and then to the Extension Wand.
5. Plug the Power Cable into a wall socket.
6. Switch on the machine using the Power Switch.
7. Vacuum the liquid using a pulling action with the squeegee blade at the front.
8. When finished, disconnect the Flexi-Hose by turning it anticlockwise and pulling it out.
9. Take the Dirt/Water Tank to a sink or disposal area.
10. Unlock the Dirt/Water Tank by pulling the Locking Clips outward.
