Listening to a Cassette Tape

Before playback:
z For playback, use normal or low-noise tapes for the best sound.
(Metal or CrO tapes are not recommended.)
z Do not use C-120 tapes or poor-quality tapes, as they may cause mal-
functions.
z Before loading a tape into the cassette compartment, tighten the slack
with a pen or a pencil.
Playback is possible in TAPE 1 compartment as well as in TAPE 2.

Press the ON/STAND-BY button to turn the power on.

Press the TAPE (1
2) button to select TAPE 1 or TAPE 2.

Open the cassette door by pushing the
area marked " PUSH EJECT".

Load a cassette into the TAPE 1 or TAPE
2 cassette compartment.

Press the / button to start playback.
When playback is performed using the remote control, press the TAPE 1 or
TAPE 2
button.
To stop playback:
Press the
(TAPE ) button.
Fast forward/rewind: (TAPE 2 only)
