Coupling the hose
1. By hand or with the use of a coupling spanner, attach the coupling
of the water hose (Fig. 2/6) to the coupling on the foam nozzle
(Fig. 2/5).

2. Point the finishing tube (Fig. 2/1) at the source of fire.
3. Open the water supply.
The water supply is started. Once a steady water pressure has built
up, a uniform extinguishing foam is produced. The extinguishing
foam is produced as long as the foam agent is admixed and the
hand lever remains open.
The pressure gauge indicates the inlet water pressure.
4. Interrupt the water supply.

2. Open the water supply.
3. Point the finishing tube (Fig. 2/1) at the source of fire.
4. Open the foam nozzle by turning the hand lever (Fig. 2/4) longitudi-
nal to the direction of flow of the water (Fig. 2/A).
The water supply is started. Once a steady water pressure has built
up, a uniform extinguishing foam is produced. The extinguishing
foam is produced as long as the foam agent is admixed and the
hand lever remains open.
The pressure gauge indicates the inlet water pressure.
5. Close the hand lever (Fig. 2/4) crossways to the flow direction of
the water (Fig. 2/B).
After use: Rinsing and uncoupling the foam nozzle
1. Shut off the water supply.
2. Interrupt the supply of foam agent.
3. Open the water supply and, if applicable, the hand lever.
4. As soon as only clear water and no more extinguishing foam
emerges from the foam tube, close the hand lever or stop the water
supply, respectively. If necessary, perform multiple rinsing passes.
