Ê Place the new system fan in the bay. The proper fan position can best be
judged from the outside at the rear side of the server. When doing so, make
sure the fan clip engages properly.
Ê Connect the fan cable to the connector FAN1 SYS on the system board.
Ê Close the server and connect all power plugs (for a detailed description see
the Options Guide).

CAUTION!
After replacing the system fan a fan calibration must be started. You will
find the description for this procedure in the manual "ServerStart".
