a The ducting can also be connected at the back.
b The rangehood is fastened in the cut-out using clamps. A solid installation
surface, e.g. made of wood, is required. Make sure that the structure can
support the load. Around the clamps, components such as supports and
ducting must be at least 25 mm from the cut-out.

Safety distance (S)

The minimum distances between the cooking surface of a cooktop (pan
support(s) for gas models) and the bottom of the rangehood are as follows,
unless a greater distance is specified by the manufacturer of your cooking
appliance. See also "Warning and Safety instructions".
