4. Installation
Install the adsorption filter using the wall bracket
provided, with the tube connection facing upwards,
approx.10 cm above the sensor of the gas warning
unit, as shown in figure 1.
Run the inlet pipe (PE 8 x 11) from the Cl
overpressure line to the cylinder and connect it with
the connecting nipple of the adsorption filter.

5. Replacing the adsorbent
After remedying faults according to the installation
and operating instructions provided with the chlorine
gas dosing system, replace the adsorbent in the
filter.
Warning
The adsorbent must only be replaced by
authorised qualified personnel!
The filter should be emptied outdoors,
because after a chlorine gas leakage small
quantities of chlorine gas might still be
found in the adsorbent.
Observe all local safety regulations for the
handling of chlorine gas!
1. Loosen the screwed connection at the top of the
adsorber.
2. Empty the adsorption cylinder and fill it with new
adsorbent.
The exchanged content consists of used filter
materials and adsorbents contaminated by
dangerous substances according to the waste code
31435.
6. Service
If no chlorine gas leakage has occurred and
exhausted the capacity of the adsorption filter, refill
the filter every 2 years to ensure the correct
operation of the filter.
