Receivers (Inputs)
The "Receivers" menu allows you to view and edit all of the ENC 1201's inputs. The drop-
down menu is used to navigate the following 3 panes: General, Metering and Labels.
4.5.1 Receivers (Inputs) > General
The "General" pane is where you can edit basic settings for the 8 microphone inputs pro-
vided by the ENC 1201. The available tabs allow you to set the phantom power for each
input and the parameters of the four separate signal paths ("splits") for each microphone
input.
PHANTOM POWER
Use the ON/OFF buttons to switch +48V phantom power on or off for the related MIC IN
socket. It is recommended to switch off the phantom power of an input BEFORE connect-
ing the XLR plug to the desired input. For condenser microphones that require phantom
power, remember to activate this setting AFTER connecting the XLR plug.
