    Use the following checklist as a guide to inspect your new vehicle. It may also be used in conjunction with the Periodic Service Schedule (page 24). Any problems should be corrected only by a Club Car distributor/dealer or a trained technician.

    After you have familiarized yourself with the vehicle’s controls and have read and understood the driving instructions, take the vehicle for a test drive.     Loading and Unloading The Carryall 6 is equipped with a manual prop rod. When lifting the bed of a Carryall 6 vehicle, remove the prop rod from the clip and engage the prop rod. DANGER • USE CAUTION WHEN WORKING UNDER BED. BE SURE PROP ROD IS SECURE. OTHERWISE THE BED WILL FALL, RESULTING IN SEVERE PERSONAL INJURY OR DEATH.

    Transporting on a Trailer TRANSPORTING ON A TRAILER Because towing another Club Car vehicle or trailer can have adverse effects on vehicle handling, be espe- cially cautious when towing with a Carryall vehicle. Total vehicle capacity, including the tow vehicle load rating and the gross weight of the vehicle with a trailer being towed should not exceed 800 lb.

    Solid State controller vehicle, it is necessary to understand the electrical circuitry and the func- tions of all components in the system. Therefore, if any repair or servicing needs to be performed, we recom- mend that it be performed by an authorized Club Car distributor/dealer using Club Car OEM parts.   • Page 33 Battery Charger NOTE • BECAUSE THE POWERDRIVE CHARGER HAS A STORAGE CHARGE FEATURE THAT AUTOMATICALLY CHECKS AND RECHARGES THE BATTERIES AS NECESSARY EVERY 15 DAYS, IT CAN REMAIN PLUGGED TO A POWERDRIVE VEHICLE THROUGHOUT THE STORAGE PERIOD. • SHORTLY AFTER CHARGING HAS BEGUN, THE POWERDRIVE CHARGER WILL SHUT OFF IN ORDER TO RUN A SELF-DIAGNOSTIC PROGRAM (AMMETER WILL DROP TO 0).
  • Page 34 Batteries should be put on charge even if they have been used for only a short time, i.e., 10 minutes. The charger is automatic and will turn off when batteries are fully charged. If the charger does not seem to be operating properly, or if the batteries seem weak, contact a local Club Car distributor/dealer. PLUG AND RECEPTACLE Carryall 1 and Carryall 2 Vehicles: The charger cord, plug, and receptacle are wear items and should be inspected daily.

    Club Car does not recommend any type of pressure washer or steam cleaning. Such a process will expose electrical components to moisture. Moisture entering electrical components can result in water damage and subsequent component failure.

    In the event a vehicle is bought used from another individual or from a distributor/dealer, we strongly urge the new owner to reregister the vehicle with Club Car. Replacement shall mean furnishing, during the applicable limited warranty period, a new vehicle or factory-reconditioned vehicle or component thereof which is identical or reasonably equivalent to the warranted product or component at no cost to the purchaser.
