Using the minute minder

The minute minder can be used to time
any activity in the kitchen, e.g. boiling
eggs. The set time counts down in
seconds.
 Touch .
00:00 flashes and the  symbol lights
up in the display.
 Use the time selector to set the
minute minder time you require.
 Touch Start to start the minute
minder.
The minute minder time will start by
itself after a few seconds if Start is not
pressed.
 At the end of the minute minder time,
a signal tone sounds, 00:00 appears
and the  symbol flashes.
 Touch  once. The  symbol will
disappear and the time of day
reappears.
Otherwise, the signal tone will repeat
several times before the time begins to
count upwards in seconds. This
enables you to see how long ago the
minute minder time elapsed.

Altering a minute minder entry

 Touch .
The current minute minder time is
stopped.
 Use the time selector to alter the
time.
 Touch Start / to continue the
minute minder.

Minute minder + cooking process

The minute minder can be used at the
same time as a cooking process and
counts down in the background.
 Touch  during the cooking
programme.
00:00 flashes and the  symbol lights
up in the display.
 Use the time selector to set the
minute minder time you require.
 Wait a few seconds and the minute
minder will begin to count down.
A few seconds later, the display will
change again to show the cooking
duration counting down. The minute
minder time counting down in the
background is represented by the
illuminated  symbol.
Do not touch Start in this instance to
start the minute minder as this would
also increase the cooking duration by
one minute.
Requesting the minute minder time
remaining
 Touch .
The minute minder time still remaining
will appear in the display.
