3. Grasp the motor with one hand and prefilter
with the other and gently pull apart.
4. Remove the impeller cover to allow access
to the impeller.
5. Pull the impeller from the motor and rinse
under running water. Use a pipe brush to clean
the impeller and the impeller chamber. Rinse
all components to remove any debris that has
been left.
6. Re-assemble the pump and reconnect it
within the filter unit. Ensure your hands are
dry, plug the pump in at the power outlet and
switch it on.

Trouble Shooting
BUBBLES ARE COMING OUT THE
OUTLET INTO THE AQUARIUM
1. The water level in the filter is too low. Add
sufficient water so that the pump is fully
submerged.
WATER FLOW INTO THE AQUARIUM
HAS DROPPED
1. Pump needs to be cleaned. Refer to
maintenance instructions in the supplied pump
instruction manual in order to clean the pump
impeller and impeller housing.
2. Outlet is blocked. Remove and clean the
outlet tube.
LIGHT DOES NOT WORK
1. Ensure the light unit is firmly connected to
the power supply unit and the switch is in the
"on" position.
2. Ensure the power supply unit is connected
to the power outlet and the outlet is switched
on.
