(DCS-1000W Only) Configure Network
Communication: From the rear panel of
DCS-1000W select the desired network
communication for DCS-1000W from the
Slide Switch. Position the Slide Switch to
the setting required either LAN or
LAN/WLAN position.
Please refer to the Physical Description
section for detailed information.
Connect an Ethernet Cable
Connect an Ethernet cable to the network
cable connector located on the Internet
Camera's rear panel and attach it to the
network.
We suggest using the Ethernet port to
configure the DCS-1000W and then
install the camera in its correct location.
Doing so will allow easy installation and
proper configuration.
Attach the External Power Supply
Attach the external power supply to the
DC power input connector located on
the Internet Camera's rear panel and is
labeled DC 5V and connect it to your
local power supply.
Note: Power source is confirmed when
the LED indicators label Power on the
Internet Camera is illuminated.
