Control Panel
* Depending on the model, some of the following functions may not be available.
Control Panel Features
Display Panel Lighting
The background lamp is lighted for easy
viewing or turned off to save power in the
following conditions.
lamp status
condition
lighted
turn on power (lighted 1 min.)
press button
touch LCD display window
open door (lighted 20 sec.)
power
1 min. after power on
saving (auto
20 sec. after door open/close
off)
no button operation for 20 sec.
after button pressed
LCD Display
LED Display (Touch Button)
When power saving is in operation, the display
y
window is turned OFF except for the icemaker
ON/OFF button.
If a button is pressed when power saving is
y
inoperation, the light comes on but the set
statusof the button does not change. Press the
button again to operate.
Wiping the LCD display window with a dry
y
cloth during cleaning may cause black lines
to appear in the window. This is a normal
characteristic of the LCD screen and the lines
will disappear after a brief time.
