Troubleshooting

Before asking for repairs, check the symptoms with the following table.
Contact a dealer if the suggested remedies do not correct the problem or if the problem is not
described below.
Symptom
The power cannot be
turned on.
The battery indicator
blinks green, orange, or
red, microphone not
operable.
The battery indicator is
blinking orange, the
charge indicator is blink-
ing red, and the micro-
phone is not operable.
Cause/solution
• Is a dry cell or a rechargeable bat-
tery installed?
→ Install a dry cell or recharge-
able battery.
• Is the battery charger connected to
the microphone (with no battery)?
→ Connect the charger to the
microphone.
• Did you press the [PWR/MUTE] but-
ton for 1 second or more?
→ Press the [PWR/MUTE] button
for 1 second or more.
• Is the battery depleted?
→ Replace with a new dry cell or
charge the rechargeable battery.
• Is the battery installed with the cor-
rect polarity?
→ Install it with the correct polarity.
• Is the channel select switch in a
position other than 1 - 4?
→ Confirm that the channel select
switch has clicked into place in
any of positions 1 - 4.
• Is the charger correctly connected
to the microphone?
→ Check the connection between
the microphone and the charger.
