5. When prompted, insert the USB Wireless
Adapter into a free USB port on your computer.
Both the NETGEAR product and Microsoft
Windows XP and above include software to
manage your wireless connections. Select
which software you would like to use (we
recommend using the NETGEAR Smart Wizard)
and click on the Next button.

You will need to configure your USB Wireless
Adapter to work with your Wi-Fi Cable Modem.
The NETGEAR Smart Wizard can guide you
through this exercise. Select Yes and then
click on the Next button.
7. Click on the Network Name which matches
the one printed on the bottom of your Wi-Fi
Cable modem (also printed on the wireless
information card), then click on the Next button.

The utility will detect the type of wireless
security being used. Click OK to continue.
