Taking Pictures
• You can only turn the
camera on when it is
disconnected from the
computer.
• The camera turns itself off
if it is left idle after twenty
seconds.
• To view pictures that you
have taken while using the
camera on-the-go, you
must connect the camera
to the computer and
download the pictures
using Creative CardCam
Photo Album.
• As JPEG compresses an
image according to its
details, colors and
compression ratio, the file
size varies according to the
picture taken.
• The counter value normally
decreases by one after a
picture is taken. However,
depending on the quality of
the picture, the counter
value may also decrease by
two, or not at all.
1. Make sure the USB cable is unplugged from the camera.
2. Turn on your camera by pushing the Power switch downwards. Your camera
beeps once. The number of images avalable is shown on the image counter on
the LCD.
3. Press the Mode/Delete button to select the image size.
4. Aim the camera at the desired object.
Note: The object should be at least 60 cm (24 inches) from the camera.
5. Hold the camera steady and press the Snapshot button.
The picture taken is stored in the camera's memory, and the counter value
decreases accordingly, depending on the resolution of the picture taken.
6. To take another picture, repeat steps 3 through 5.
7. To turn off the camera, push in the Lens button.
