4.5 Uncalibration

•
The knobs(10) allow vertical uncalibration within a ratio of 1 to 2.5.
•
The knob (21) allows horizontal uncalibration within a ratio of 1 to
2.5.
•
When pushed down, the EXPANSION button (23) allows enlarging
the trace horizontally 5 or 10 times according to the model. As a
result, the trace brightness is attenuated.
•
When pushed down, the x5 EXPANSION button (12) allow
enlarging the trace 5 times vertically.
5 Adjustment – Maintenance
Your instrument is delivered ready for use and requires no adjustment
except maybe as follows:
5.1

Trace rotation

Because of the differences in the earth magnetic field it (méth)acrylate be
necessary to adjust the trace parallelism relative to the horizontal axis.
Turn the TRACE ROTATION adjusting screw.
5.2

Maintenance

Your instrument has been designed to reduce maintenance requirements
to a minimum, conditional on your following a few recommendations:
•
Keep the ventilation louvers unobstructed.
•
Avoid sudden temperature changes.
•
Do not use the instrument close to a strong heat source.
•
Avoid prolonged exposure to excessively hot sun conditions.
•
Keep away from fluid spills and splashes.
•
Avoid the vicinity of high intensity magnetic fields.
•
Keep away from dust.
•
Avoid vibrations and impacts.
•
Avoid excessively bright ambient light requiring the constant use of
the maximum brightness level.
•
Store in a dry place.
•
Use a soft cloth wetted with a neutral detergent or alcohol to clean
the instrument casing.
