Example: amplitude measurement of a 0.8V a.c. sine voltage;
range 0.2 V/div. (4 div. x 0.2 V/div. = 0.8 V peak to peak)
Example: amplitude measurement of a 22V a.c. sawtooth voltage;
range 5 V/div. 4(4.4 div. x 5 V/div. = 22 V peak to peak)
To measure the period of the signal, use the range selector (19) to
determine the display to be used for convenient observation.
The period value is obtained by multiplying the number of divisions
occupied by a period by the range used on the selector (19).
Reminder: the VARIABLE fine adjustment knob (21) must be set on CAL
(fully clockwise).
Example: on diagram 3, the time base range is 2 msec/div. The period is: 4
x 2 = 8 msec.
On diagram 4. the time base range is 5 msec/div. The period is: 4.6 x 5 =
23 msec.
4.1.3 Measurement of an A.C. Signal with a D.C.
Component
The signal to be measured is fed into either input YA (7) or YB (8).
Select the desired channel YA (15) or YB (16).
