Checking the Drive Chain Slider
Check the condition of the drive chain slider.
The drive chain slider will need to be replaced if the
chain slider is worn to the wear limit groove.
If necessary have the drive chain slider replaced by
your dealer.

Checking the Clutch Lever Freeplay
Check the clutch lever freeplay.
Freeplay at the clutch lever:
10 to 20 mm (0.4 to 0.8 in)

Check the clutch cable for kinks or signs of wear. If
necessary have it replaced by your dealer.
Lubricate the clutch cable with a commercially
available cable lubricant to prevent premature wear
and corrosion.

Improper freeplay adjustment can cause premature
clutch wear.
