5.6 Changing the gas cartridge
Possible danger to life due to incorrect use of gas cartridges
Before disconnecting the gas cartridge, make sure that the burner is

off.
Before changing the gas cartridge, make sure that it is empty. One
`
way is to shake it so you can hear the liquid slosh.
Change the gas cartridge outdoors only. Keep a safe distance from
`
ignition sources and other people.
Avoid twisting the gas hose.

To change the gas cartridge, proceed as follows:
1� Before disconnecting the gas cartridge, close the
gas tap with a firm twist to the right ( )�
2� Screw the gas cartridge off the gas regulator, not
the other way around!
The gas cartridge has been disconnected.

3� Before connecting another gas cartridge, make
sure the gaskets between the device and the gas
cartridge are in working order and condition.
Never use Skotti with defective or worn out gas-
kets.
4� Screw the new gas cartridge onto the gas regula-
tor, not the other way around!
The gas cartridge has been changed.
