OPERATION
Blade installation and removal
CAUTION: Always remove wood chips and dust from blade, blade clamp and/or slider.
Failure to do so may cause insufficient tightening of the blade, resulting in a serious injury.
To install the saw blade, always make sure that the blade clamp sleeve is in its
released position before inserting the saw blade. If the blade clamp sleeve is in
fixed position, rotate the sleeve to the released position.
Release the lock screw (3) with the Allen key (8) counterclockwise, then insert the
saw blade (1) into the blade clamp as far as it will go. The blade clamp sleeve
and the saw blade are fixed. Finish by fastening the lock screw clockwise. Make
sure that the saw blade cannot be extracted by trying to pull it out.
NOTE:
If the saw blade is not inserted deep enough, the saw blade may be ejected unex-
pectedly during operation.
This can be extremely dangerous.
To remove the saw blade, release the lock screw (3) with the Allen key (8) clock-
wise. The saw blade is removed and the blade clamp sleeve is fixed at the released
position.
Soft Grip
The tool's soft grip reduces risk for slippage, and thereby improves the grip on the
tool and its handling.
At the same time, the rubber coating achieves a vibration-reducing effect for
increased comfort for the operator.

CAUTION: Always ensure the lock-off button (6) is placed in the middle position before carrying
out any tasks on the tool, eg. blade change, maintenance, transport or storage of the tool.

Always pull the battery charger (11) out of the mains socket and remove the battery
