BIMBAM - Radio-controlled clock with hourly chime
• The time zone correction is needed for countries where the DCF signal can be received but the time zone is different from the DCF time (e.g.
+1=one hour plus).
• Press the SET button again to make the settings in the following sequence: the DCF reception (ON - default), the hours, the minutes and the
seconds display (OFF - default) and adjust it with the

• Once the DCF time signal is successfully received, the manually set time is overwritten, if the DCF reception is activated.
7.1.1 DCF reception
• By default, the DCF reception is activated (dcF on) and after successful reception of the DCF signal no manual adjustment is necessary.
• Press the

SET / - button in setting mode if you want to deactivate the DCF reception (dcF OFF).
• Confirm the setting with the SET button.
7.2 Alarm time setting
• Press the
SET / -button in normal mode, to enter the alarm mode.
• The alarm symbol and 6:00 (default) or the last adjusted alarm time appear on the display.
• Press and hold the
SET / - button for 3 seconds.
• The hour digits flash.
• Press the
ON OFF / + or
SET / - button to adjust the hours.
• Confirm the setting with the SET button and set minutes with the

• To activate and deactivate the alarm function press the

• When the adjusted alarm time is reached, the alarm will ring.

7.3 Hourly chime setting
7.3.1 Set the hourly-chime period
• In normal mode, press and hold the
MODE button for three seconds to enter the selection function.
• The display shows the hourly chime symbol, START and END
• Here you set the period in which the hourly chime is active (0-23 pm - default).
• The start time flashes. Use the
ON OFF / + or
SET / - button to set the hourly chime start-time.

7.3.2 Select hourly chime melody
• In normal mode, press the
123 button to enter the selection function.
• The hourly chime symbol flashes, the default or last set melody rings and the corresponding number flashes (1 - default).
• Set the melody with the

SET / -button.
• You can select from the following 5 melodies: 1 cuckoo, 2 Big Ben, 3 birdsong, 4 Singing bowl, 5 Ding Dong.
• Confirm the setting with the
123 button.
• The display shows the current time.
• The selected melody will also be used as an alarm.
7.3.3 Adjust hourly chime volume
• In normal mode, press the
VOL. button to enter the selection function.
• The hourly chime symbol flashes and the last volume (2 - default) is displayed.
• Press the
ON OFF / + or
SET / - button to adjust the volume.
• You can choose from three volume levels (1, 2, 3).
• Confirm the setting with the
VOL. button.
• The display shows the current time.
• NOTE: The hourly chime volume does not affect the alarm volume.
7.3.4 Activate/deactivate hourly chime
• To activate and deactivate the hourly chime function press the

8. Mounting
• Hang the device to your chosen place secured with two firm nails or screws with plugs. The device can be placed onto flat surfaces with the
fold-out stand.
9. Care and maintenance
• Clean the device with a soft damp cloth. Do not use solvents or scouring agents.
• Remove the batteries if the device will not be used for an extended period of time.
• Keep the device in a dry place.
