NOTE TO INSTALLER:
This manual must be left with the equipment user.
WARNING: If the information in this manual
is not followed exactly, a fire or explosion may result
causing property damage, personal injury or loss
of life.
— Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable
vapors and liquids in the vicinity of this or any
other appliance.
— WHAT TO DO IF YOU SMELL GAS:
— Do not try to light any appliance.
— Do not touch any electrical switch; do not use
any phone in your building.
• Immediately call your gas supplier from a
neighbor's phone. Follow the gas supplier's
instructions.
• If you cannot reach your gas supplier, call the
fire department.
— Installation and service must be performed by a
qualified installer, service agency or the gas
supplier.
Do not use this furnace if any part has been under water.
Immediately call a qualified service technician to inspect
the furnace and to replace any part of the control system
and gas control which has been under water.

    • A furnace installed in an attic or other insulated space must be kept free and clear of insulating material. Examine the furnace area when in- stalling the furnace or adding more insulation.

    90 sec before stopping. SHUTTING DOWN YOUR FURNACE Should you ever suspect a malfunction in your furnace, you will need to turn the furnace off. The following proce- dures must be followed: 1. Set your room thermostat to the lowest temperature setting.
