FireBusII

All FS7-2173 Detectors are interconnected by the FireBusII. A maximum of 12
Detectors may be attached to any SX Controller and the maximum cable length is
1000 feet. The four-conductor FireBusII supplies the 12 VDC power and RS-485
digital communications to all Detectors. The Controller supervises the FireBusII line.
Improper FireBusII operation is indicated by the Controller Fault LED.

Connector J1: Ten pin removable terminal strip.
Connector J2: Ten pin removable terminal strip.
RS-232 Port: Type DB-9 pin female serial communications bus.
The Controller requires 24 VDC. Under NO circumstances
should 120 or 240 VAC be applied to the Controller's input
power terminals or any other Controller connection
terminals.
