determined subject to particular site conditions.
As a guide Honeywell Analytics recommend the following checks and frequency.

Visual check of controller, detectors and installation for mechanical
damage. Ensure the sensor is clear of obstruction.
Every 6 months
Functional gas test (see below). Adjust frequency according to site
conditions.
Caution: The following procedure should be followed carefully and only

10.1 Live Maintenance
Live Maintenance is to be performed only within the guidelines
This procedure does not allow disconnection or connection to any of the terminals
located on the terminal block located inside the enclosure.
The only live maintenance that can be performed inside the main housing, with the
power connected, is the operation of the "Mode" and "Set" switches, located on the
rear of the front portion of the enclosure, when opened. Instructions for the operation
of these switches, is indicated in section 7. Any other Maintenance / Service
functions needed to be done inside the main housing will require disconnection
of power to the instrument.
The only other live maintenance function allowed is sensor replacement, which is
covered in section 11. These procedures do not require opening of the main housing.
