Printer hood not closed correctly.
Press firmly until an audible click is noted.
Check Ribbon
Ribbon in need of replacement or not installed
correctly.
Check Media
Out of tape or tape not correctly installed.
Check the label sensor for die cut tape see fig 6.
Try a sensor calibration fig 3.
If using plain tape ensure the sensor is covered by
the tape, locate the sensor centrally.
