3. OPERATION Power On/Off Switch on the radio by turning the power knob clockwise until the speaker is at a desired volume level. As soon as the power is on, the LCD display becomes lit. Transmission Press and hold the PTT button while speaking at about 5cm from the microphone for transmission (indicated by the red LED).
