Section 13 - Troubleshooting
Corrective Action
1. Drain and clean fuel-supply
tank; clean fuel filter
2. Ensure chimney is installed
properly and draft is set
3. Clean heater, including upper
manifold and chimney
4. Adjust flame settings (Section
11)
5. Check fuel supply (Section 6)
and flame adjustment (Sec-
tion 11)
6. Adjust flame (Section 11); test
combustion blower motor,
replace if necessary
7. Clean/test/adjust compo-
nents; replace if necessary
8. Clean/replace nozzle and/or
preheater assembly
1. Test cartridge heater(s) using
an Ohm meter:
Air heater = 112 Ω ±10%
Oil heater = 37 Ω ±10%
2. Test snap disc for continuty
when preheater is cold
