Safety Notes - Westfalia RF601A Instruction Manual

Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions,
damage or physical injury:
Persons with limited physical, sensorial or mental abilities are not allowed to
use the unit, unless they are supervised for their safety by a qualified person
or are briefed by the responsible person how to use the unit.
Keep the spray gun out of reach of children.
Always use the spray gun with the necessary care and caution and protect
yourself and others form accidents by taking suitable precautions.
Never aim the spray gun at yourself, other persons or animals. Solvents and
paint thinner can damage eyes and skin.
Always use a quick coupler to attach the spray gun to the compressed air
source and set the operating pressure with a pressure limiter.
Do not use oxygene or flammable gases as pressure source.
Before undertaking any repairs or maintenance on the spray gun, disconnect
the spray gun from the compressed air source.
Check all connections ans hoses for functionality and tightness. Loose hoses
are a safety risk ans may cause injuries. Use only safety couplers.
Use the air drill only according to this manual and use only original spare
parts.
When using the spray gun, always wear appropriate peraonal safety
equipment, especially breathing protections and gloves.
Keep your working area tidy. Only take as much paint and thinner to your
working area as is required for completing the job. Do not keep paint and
thinners in open containers; store them in a safe place which is not easily
accessible to others.
Before undertaking maintenance or repairs disconnect the spray gun from the
compressed air supply.
During painting no ignition source (e.g. open flames, lid cigarettes, lamps not
protected against explosion etc.) may be present because shooting paint will
cause the formation of explosive gasses.
Always observe the safety instructions of the manufacturer of the paint and
solvent.
